Still in hospital here, but without getting into a long rant again no one really wants to read - I’m just going to do a quick’ish fire list of sorts…
Going on 6th week here soon, Liv’s kidney is doing very well, the most important thing❤️
A few setbacks, Liv is on her second urinal tract infection
Got sent to other hospital past Sunday to get a new ‘Double J’ catheter operated into her new kidney that goes down into her bladder - her new turbo kidney needs a lot of water but Liv is tiny so the water doesn’t flow as well quick enough - but hopefully this will do the trick.
Got back from the other hospital down to Odense again, same day we got news she now also has another staphylococcus infection in her blod again, effectively another blod poisoning - and on new antibiotics on top of the ones she already get for the tract infection.
So this Friday (maybe) she needs to get her just-in operated-new Port-A-Cath operated out and three days later a new one operated in again to get rid of that infection.
But as always, Liv is trooping on bravely, its incredible to see everyday, just when we can’t imagine more shit happening or can’t take much more - she smiles and laughs ❤️ reminding us despite what just happened, we have to move on and get over it, just like Liv does each and every single day. She hasn’t experienced one single day without some sort of pain but she just laughs and smiles as soon as it’s over. It’s incredible❤️ She is such a tough little fighter words can’t describe anymore.
On a different note, and because I’ve been living under a rock for so long I just recently discovered a lot of bands have released a lot of albums since I last checked -didn’t know Katatonia made TWO ALBUMS since I last checked, same with Opeth and so so many other!!! Be going to snoop out all those on physical media and listen proper once given the chance but damn those two new @katatoniaband albums are great, just the right amount of melancholia with right amount of punch and lush subtle electronics -its been good comfort sounds here past couple of weeks(thanks @jonasrenkseofficial for posting about recent album I completely missed)#lifewithliv
